"The special effects during the stories kept you at the edge of your seat and gave me chills. I could really feel the fever and furvor of the search for the lost ring. And the storm was so real, you want to grab a coat and hunker down! A very unique experience that is worth stopping in for."

It's an intimate theater experience with a great many special effects that place you right in the stories of the Ghosts and Legens of the beach. I was particularly "blown away" when the epic journey placed me in the middle of a hurricane. I'm glad I saw the show. It was priced right and a lot of fun. The kids had a blast too. "On a recent vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, my wife and I had an opportunity to see the show Ghosts and Legends of the Grand Strand, located at Barefoot Landing. It was the highlight of our vacation! The show and its special effects would rival many Disney attractions We also took their evening ghost walk, and having experienced a number of these around the country, we found this one to be superb. "Ghosts and Legends at Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach. Purchased combo tickets to see the Ghost show and Ghost walk.
The show is the cheapest thing you can do at the beach, (besides play in the sand!) with tickets under $10. We decided to do it all and saved $4 off with the combination. Wish the show was longer. Very good special effects though. The show was spooky, but not too scary for the little ones. The ghost walk was outside through the swamps. The pirate tour guide held the interest of the kids, but the history and stories was the part I enjoyed most. Overall a great family value.""What a great show! Alot of fun and I learned some things, too. Everyone in my family really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back to hear some more stories. Next time I am going to try the Ghost Walk!"
"I came to Myrtle Beach with my brother and sister last summer (2005). We were shopping at the wonderful outdoor mall at Barefoot Landing in N. Myrtle Beach where The Ghosts and Legends show is. This is a wonderful show about ghosts and stories relevent to the Carolina coast. It's very interesting and enjoyable. Kind of like the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. Of particular note is the wonderful surround sound experience."
"We loved the show. It was not too scarey but it did have moments when you did want to look over your shoulder and see if someone was standing there. While strolling about Barefoot Landing it is a great place to stop and enjoy the air-conditioning and to hear about some of Myrtle Beach's more colorful and interesting characters."
