We do not
know what orbs truly are. They do seem to be found mainly in areas where
there is a history of ghostly activity. Ghost orb photographs can be found
all over the internet and we have some of our own here to share with you.
For the past several years and to the present, guests of the Myrtle Beach
Ghost Walk continue to capture photographs in which this phenomenon occurs.
Different people, different cameras, different film, different lenses and
weather conditions, but all similar orbs. The location in which the majority
appear is about half way through the Ghost Walk.
If you have a spooky photo or story to share about your experiences with
us at Ghosts and Legends, we'd love to hear from you! Your lucky photo might
end up here! Click here to submit your photos
This
picture was taken on 8/21/07 on the walk back. I have no idea what
it is? Kathy B.
This
picture was taken about 45 min. into the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk. Thanks
very much to our guide, Pirate Bex for an absolutely unforgettable experience.
We had a great time and would gladly recommend it to anyone. Richard

Diane S. took the
following photos on June 21,2007.
"My husband and I took the Ghost Walk on June 21, 2007 with Bex
as our Tour Guide. She explained to us that people have been on this
tour, and have taken pics of the ghost orbs. I already knew about them,
because I was on this web site before we left for Myrtle Beach. As our
tour progressed, I decided to take some shots with my digital camera
to see if any would come up. Sure enough, I got them on my camera and
was very happy and excited! I even took some regular pics to show people
that there was nothing wrong with my camera. So here are the shots that
I got with the orbs. Thanks Bex for a awesome night!!"

Taylor S. took
these pictures July 1st 2007 on the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk.
"The
pictures show orbs which are the most common type of paranormal phenomena."
Laurie L. from
Massachusetts captured these ghosts on film.
"I didn't realize how many orbs there were until I downloaded the
pictures from my camera. I didn't take many pictures because the places
were so dark I didn't think anything would come out, but as you can
see they were there. And around the trees as the guide had said. Not
all of the pictures had these in them. (Some people think it is something
on the camera lens.)"
This photo was
sent to us by D. Lewars of Philadelphia, PA after attending our Ghost
Walk in October. A ghostly orb is seen floating just a few feet above
the group.
The photo was taken
about half way through the ghost walk in a very dark wooded area by
the swamp. Although the orb resembles a full moon, the actual moon was
not full this night, nor could it fall so low in the sky and be seen
from here. (The background is a forest of thick trees.)
The small reddish
light just to the left of the orb is a safety light on a pole in the
distance through the trees.
These two photos
were taken by Doug Ferguson of Metairie, LA. More strange 'orb spirits.'
"Attached
you will find pictures we had taken with you during our ghost walk last
week--our children enjoyed your shows and insist the orbs in the picture
are authentic--best of luck to you and we hope to see you next year."

This photo
was sent to us by Mike Riley of North Myrtle Beach. The subject is his
son, Mike Riley Jr. The location is Alice's grave, who's haunting story
is featured in our show at Ghosts and Legends Theatre. The photo captures
more of these strange ghostly orbs floating around in the air! Are they
just flaws in the film, or perhaps swamp gas? Or are they spirits of
the departed? YOU DECIDE!
