Ghosts and Legends Theatre Announces New Marketing Manager

North Myrtle Beach, SC; May 15, 2007 - Ghosts and Legends Theatre, located in Barefoot Landing has named John McGuire as its new Marketing Manager.

'Mr. McGuire is a much needed addition to our business as we enter our fifth season,' say proprietors Oliver and Terry Holler. 'Our success as the Grand Strand's only attractions featuring local history and spooky fun has been almost overwhelming and we're glad to have John helping to oversee various programs.'

Mr. McGuire, previously Marketing Specialist for Triumph Gaming and Casino Host for SunCruz Casinos, will be in charge of marketing, group sales, and public relations for the Ghosts and Legends Theatre. Ghost and Legends Theatre, which has three unique attractions including the Ghosts of the Grand Strand Show, the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk, and the Blackbeard Séance, will expand its brand recognition, create stronger relationships with area businesses, and increase exposure of the theatre to the local and tourist markets. John will spearhead these efforts as well as help promote the company's seasonal special events.

The theatre itself is a work of art and the show is the most creative project that I have had the pleasure of being a part of. I am proud to have my name attached to the Ghosts and Legends brand"

Before joining Ghosts and Legends Theatre, Mr. McGuire developed brand recognition and customer loyalty for successful gaming companies. His efforts will now turn to a completely different kind of entertainment unique to the area. According to Mr. McGuire, "I am looking forward to working with an attraction that is appropriate for all ages and family oriented. It is a breath of fresh air. I value the time that I get to share with my two daughters and I am excited about promoting an attraction that would appeal to a family such as my own."

Mr. McGuire is finishing his BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a minor in Parks and Recreation Management from Northern Arizona University's online degree program. He has an AA in Business Administration from Saint Leo University and is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Alpha Lambda, and Golden Key International Honor Society.

Mr. McGuire is a South Carolina native and grew up in the low country town of Orangeburg, SC. He and his family now reside in the city of Myrtle Beach.
