Gather the family and enjoy an entertaining evening under the stars with the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk. Hear over a dozen of the Grand Strand's most popular ghost stories including the story of Dr. Flagg's mermaid, the Stone Crab Boy and the SeeWee Indians while being led on a lantern lit tour through the spooky swamps of Gauses Inlet. Stories of treasure, pirates, hurricanes, royalty, and monsters come to life while you journey into the shadows of the Spanish moss. These swamps are some of the most haunted and historic areas of the Grand Strand.
The Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk is home to abundant wildlife such as birds, waterfowl, fish and many reptiles. Sharp eyes may spot alligators in the moonlight, which still lurk in these dark waters. Some even say that mutant creatures such as the infamous Lizard Man have been seen in these parts of the coast.
Many ghostly orbs have been caught on film by ghost hunters on the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk. Are these phenomena real or just a flawed camera lens? About the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk:
The Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk is held nightly at 8:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. (hours change after September 1) at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. Tours last approximately an hour and a half. Tickets are available online at www.MyrtleBeachGhostWalk.com or by calling (843) 361-2700. Advance ticket purchase is required. Tickets for adults are $17.95 and children under 13 are $12.95. Group rates and private tours are available. Comfortable walking shoes and appropriate dress for the weather is recommended.
