Halloween Activities at Ghosts and Legends Theatre
North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

In October, it's time to prepare for the most 'spirited' celebration of all: Halloween! Barefoot Landing is the 'dead center' of activities this October as it launches 31 days and nights of Fall shopping, dining, entertainment, and Halloween fun! Hundreds of glowing jack-o-lanterns, ghost shows, ghost walks, séance parties, author book signings and of course, trick or treating!

The Incredible Pumpkin Patch
Enjoy over 500 lit jack-o-lanterns in a glowing archway of smiles every night, from October 1st through Halloween. This is a spectacular sight, so be sure to bring your cameras! Bales of hay, corn stalks, scarecrows, music, fog and festive lighting complete this temporary attraction, which has grown steadily as a family favorite for the past several years. Lights go on from 7pm-9pm nightly and there is no charge to view or photograph this special autumn attraction, found only at Barefoot Landing.

Returning for her fifth year to Ghosts and Legends Theatre, Elizabeth Huntsinger Wolf will make an exclusive appearance to personally autograph her spooky books for readers. Don't miss this chance to speak with this renowned author and discuss the ghostly tales found in her works.

Elizabeth Huntsinger Wolf is the author of Ghosts of Georgetown and More Ghosts of Georgetown and her latest book, Georgetown Mysteries and Legends. All three books will be available for purchase at the Ghosts and Legends gift shop. A 10% discount will be given to guests who also attend the Ghost Show inside the theatre (performed every half hour.)

The Ghosts of the Grand Strand Show
Experience the only Myrtle Beach show that is all about Myrtle Beach. The Ghost Show offers spooky history and affordable fun for the entire family. Meet the Gray Man, Alice and other spirits in this award winning live action show that brings the Grand Strand's haunted history to life. General admission tickets are only $8.95 and $5.95 for ages 12 and under. The Ghost Show runs every 30 minutes from 10:30am-9pm daily October 1-31.

The Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk
Enjoy a lantern lit excursion by our entertaining and knowledgeable storytellers. Hear over a dozen creepy tales in the moonlight through remote areas of the natural coastal swamp located at Barefoot Landing. Explore beautiful wildlife in the shadows of the Spanish moss, while hearing true stories about Ghosts, Indians, Monsters, Mermaids and more! General admission tickets are only $17.95 and $12.95 for ages 12 and under. The Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk is held nightly at 7:30 p.m. from October 1-31.

The Blackbeard Séance
Gather with friends in the intimate setting of an 1800's southern plantation parlor, surrounded by priceless antiquity. Fact and fiction combine as your medium leads you through fascinating experiments and the phenomenon of 'communicating with the dead.' The "Blackbeard Séance" brings to life this authentic and spine-tingling form of entertainment, while celebrating the area's coastal heritage and southern culture. This most rare evening promises to be unlike any other. The Blackbeard Séance is held Friday and Saturday nights at 10pm (reservations required).
