Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk

Explore the happy haunting grounds of ghosts from long ago. Journey into the shadows of the Spanish moss, through Barefoot Landing's past as this historic and chilling tour takes you back in time to what was once known as Gauses Swash. Reportedly a favorite location for Indians and pirates, this area holds many stories of treasure, quicksand, royalty, hurricanes, monsters and even a visit from the father of our country, George Washington!
Sharp eyes may spot alligators in the moonlight, which still lurk in these dark waters.

Witness amazing stories and enjoy a revealing stroll beneath the stars on this evening-hours lantern lit tour. Visit the site of one of the beach's very first 'motels', and see one of the oldest roads in the United States in continuous use since Colonial Times.

Quick Facts:

Tours begin at 9:30pm nightly (hours vary with season), only at Barefoot Landing.
Tickets are available at Ghosts and Legends Theatre box office during regular Barefoot Landing hours. Advance purchase is highly recommended and group size is limited.

Group Rates and Private Tours Available
Tours last approximately an hour and a half. Comfortable walking shoes and appropriate dress for the weather recommended.
